The First Nations Health Foundation (FNHF) is the philanthropic partner to the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA). Together, we support the health and wellness of First Nations people and communities across BC.
To guide our partnerships with donors and funders, we have organized the FNHA’s wide range of programs and services into seven broad impact areas. These areas reflect the diversity of needs and strengths across the province—on reserve, in rural and remote communities, and in urban and away-from-home settings—and represent opportunities to invest in community-led and culturally grounded solutions.
At the heart of every initiative is the understanding that culture is healing. First Nations knowledge, traditions, and ceremonies are essential to restoring and sustaining wellness. Across all impact areas, we are committed to fostering safe, inclusive, and equitable health systems that honour First Nations people of all genders, sexualities, and identities, including 2S/LGBTQQIA+ individuals.
